Biography

Aaron has always been fascinated by weather and Mother Nature's fury. From tracking hurricanes as a tyke on Beaufort Is, SC to watching severe storms roll across Rockford, IL, there was never a doubt to what he wanted to do. After graduating high school in the spring of 2000, Aaron moved to the U. of Oklahoma in Norman, OK to pursue his lifelong dream of a career in meteorology.

With camera in hand, Aaron set out on his hobby of storm chasing during spare time. Along the way, the discovery was made that the plains had much more to offer. For over a decade, Aaron has been documenting his adventures on the plains. Aaron graduated with his Meteorology B.S. in the Spring of 2004 and his M.S. in the Spring of 2006. In 2011, he finished his childhood dream of becoming a doctor by graduating from the U. of North Dakota with a PhD in Atmospheric Science.
